Luca ZUANIGH

BIOGRAPHY:

Luca Zuanigh was born in Udine in 1976. He completed his MSc degree in Materials Engineering at University of Trieste in 2003.

In 2004 he started working in Stark S.p.A., a cutting tools maker, as a Project manager. He was in charge of developing the circular knifes for the paper and cardboard industry.

In 2007 he joined the Research and Development organization in Wärtsilä Italia S.p.A. in the Fuel Injection team.

He started as a Fuel Injection Expert, dealing with the 4-stroke portfolio engines. After three years he became Senior Expert in Fuel Injection. He was handling projects including Common rail equipment studies.

In 2014 he became the manager of the Fuel Injection Team in Trieste.

In 2016 he moved to Technical Service expertise area within Wärtsilä, as Fuel Injection Equipment manager.

Currently he is managing an international team of 3 technical experts who tackle issues coming from the field and develop solutions for engine upgrades.

LECTURES

An advanced course created for graduated students and employees who are involved in the design and manufacturing phases of ships and/or offshore vessels/platforms, which will improve their skills in maritime safety as well as in environmental and security issues.
