Published the Call for students for the Advanced Master in “Advanced skills in safety, environment and Security at Sea”

Application to the Advanced Master’s Call for students are finally opened!

University of Trieste has activated an Advanced Master focused on maritime safety and security issues. The Master is part of the project ASSESS Advanced Skills in Safety, Environment and Security at Sea, which has been approved and co-funded within the DG MARE Call Blue Careers in Europe. The partnership is composed by the Maritime Technology Cluster of Friuli Venezia Giulia, University of Trieste, National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics – OGS, Lloyd’s Register EMEA and National Research Council (CNR) – Marine Technology Research Institute (INSEAN).

The Master’s goal is to provide skills and knowledge required by the maritime industry related to the design and manufacturing phases of ships and/or offshore vessels and platforms.

The maximum number of people who can be admitted to the Advanced Master Programme is 20.

Lessons will start within the end of October 2017.
